1. Agreement to Terms & Company Information

By accessing or using Compare The Tipster (comparethetipster.co.uk), owned and operated by Citriq Limited("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you are prohibited from using the site and must discontinue use immediately.

2. Description of Service & Not a Bookmaker

Compare The Tipster is an independent odds comparison aggregator and verified tipster marketplace. We are not a bookmaker, betting operator, or gambling service provider. We do not accept wagers, place bets on your behalf, hold player deposits, or process betting transactions. All betting wagers are placed directly with third-party, UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) licensed bookmakers via outbound links.

3. Live Odds Accuracy, Market Volatility & Non-Liability Disclaimer

Odds, lines, and prices displayed on Compare The Tipster are sourced from real-time and cached feeds provided by third-party bookmakers. Betting markets are inherently volatile and odds fluctuate continuously up until the moment a wager is struck.

• Informational Comparison Only: All odds, accumulator multipliers, each-way terms, and payout estimates shown on this website are provided strictly for informational and comparison purposes.
• Final Binding Odds: The only binding and official odds are those confirmed on the respective licensed bookmaker's betslip at the time your wager is accepted by that bookmaker.
• No Liability for Price Shifts or Errors: Compare The Tipster, Citriq Limited, its officers, employees, and data providers accept no liability whatsoever for any price discrepancies, odds shortening, drift, market suspensions, transmission delays, palpably incorrect odds, or betting losses incurred as a result of relying on odds or information published on this platform.
• Bookmaker Specific Rules: Individual bookmakers enforce their own settlement rules (including Each-Way place terms, Rule 4 deductions on horse racing, Dead Heat rules, minimum/maximum stake limits, and Cash Out terms). Users must review and accept the relevant bookmaker's terms before placing any bet.

4. Age Restriction & Responsible Gambling

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age for gambling in your jurisdiction) to use this website or sign up for an account. By registering, you warrant that you meet this age requirement.

Gambling involves financial risk and can be addictive. You agree to use our service responsibly and acknowledge that we are not responsible for any betting losses you incur. Please refer to our Responsible Gambling Policy for details.

5. Punter Accounts (Followers)

• Free Punters: Accounts are free and intended for personal, non-commercial use.
• Punter+ Subscription: For £3/month, Punter+ members receive advanced analytics, unlimited bet tracking, and 2 'Consensus Unlock Tokens' per month.
• Consensus Unlock Tokens: Tokens allow users to reveal a single premium tip. If a token is used, a pro-rated share of the subscription fee is credited to the tipster(s) involved in the consensus. Tokens do not roll over to the next billing cycle.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Subscriptions to premium tipsters are handled via Stripe. You agree to pay all fees associated with subscriptions you choose to buy. Cancellations must be made prior to renewal dates.

6. Tipster Accounts (Publishers)

• Tipsters must provide honest, verified records. Once a tip is submitted, it is timestamped, locked, and cannot be edited or deleted.
• Any attempt to manipulate stats, enter fraudulent odds, backdate tips, or exploit result verification APIs will result in immediate permanent account termination and forfeiture of any accrued subscription payouts.
• Subscription Revenue Share: Payments are processed via Stripe Connect. Platform fees vary by tier (Pro Tipsters keep 90%, Elite Tipsters keep 95%).
• Affiliate Payouts: Tipsters receive a share of the £3/mo Punter+ subscription fee for users they refer (Free tier 15%, Pro 30%, Elite 45%). If a tipster closes their account or leaves the platform, all future recurring affiliate commissions are instantly forfeited.
• Unlimited App Notifications: Pro and Elite tipsters receive unlimited mobile push notifications and app alerts. Elite tipsters gain access to Discord and Telegram Webhooks. There are no variable billing or communication credits required.
• Active Tipster Requirement & Dormant Accounts: To remain eligible for subscription payouts and ongoing affiliate commissions, tipsters must maintain an "Active" status by posting at least one (1) verified tip within a rolling 60-day period. If an account becomes Dormant (no tips posted for 60 consecutive days), all active subscriptions will be automatically canceled to protect punters, and any pending payout balances or future affiliate commissions will be permanently forfeited to the platform.

7. Affiliate Disclaimer & Third-Party Links

We display promotional affiliate links and welcome offers from regulated UK bookmakers. When you sign up or deposit using our links, we may receive a commission. We are not responsible for the terms, conditions, or actions of any third-party bookmaker websites.

8. Limitation of Liability

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL COMPARE THE TIPSTER, CITRIQ LIMITED, OR ITS DIRECTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF CAPITAL, WAGERING LOSSES, OR MISSED PROFITS ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES OR DATA CONTAINED HEREIN. PAST TIPSTER PERFORMANCE IS NOT A GUARANTEE OF FUTURE OUTCOMES.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
